Tinnitus Frequency Guide
Tinnitus is a debilitating condition for many people. Whilst there are no known reliable solutions to tinnitus, it is possible for some people to get some well-needed relief by masking the noise. The Tinnitus Relief tool I provide here is one such solution created for my personal use and for use by other family members.
I’m not any kind of health specialist, and have no idea if this will provide you with any relief. A bacterial ear infection that left me with this condition, and specialists told me you just learn to live with it. This helps me to live with it.
Please be aware that excessive volumes of any type could damage hearing, so use our generators responsibly. In using the tool you hereby waiver any claims of responsibility by the providers.
How to Use:
You must wear headphones.
Increase the volume slightly; it does not need to be loud.
Increase & Decrease the Frequency gradually to find a point where you no longer hear the sound.
As you increase/decrease the Frequency further the sound will become audible again. If you hear sound all the time, decrease the volume slighty and try again. Reminder, if you do not wear headphones, you will hear the sound all the time. Your brain is clever like that,;it’s the brain creating the tone of your tinnitus.
The Frequency range where you could not hear the sound is generally the Frequency of your Tinnitus.
Bring the adjuster back into this range to match your Tinnitus frequency.
You may then wish to add some ‘Noise’ to cloud out the your Tinnitus.
Doing this can offer a certain level of relief to some users.
There are no guarantees that this will work for you, but if it does offer you a period of relief or help you become accustomed to living with this condition, then I’m happy.
